Obituary for Marion Joseph “Joe” Carter Marion Joseph “Joe” Carter, 100, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was retired from Dupont Chemical and was a U.S Marine Corp Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Frances Carter; brothers, Richard, Robert and John Carter; sisters, Ruth Bowling, Catherine Martin; granddaughter, Jamie Ann Whitaker.

He is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Linda) and Stephen (Barbara) Carter; daughters, Linda Whitaker (Charlie Hess), and Elizabeth Wilcoxson; ten grandchildren and nineteen great- grandchildren. His funeral mass will be 10am Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3705 Stone Lakes Dr., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery , Cloverport, KY. Visitation will be 1-7pm Sunday, and 4-7pm Monday at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road, and 9-10am Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church.
