A funeral procession will form 9 AM Monday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church.

Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Carmella M. Dreiser, 92, of Gross Street died Wednesday January 9, 2019 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family and friend. Born, July 5, 1926 in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Cosmos J. and Martha K. (Buboltz) Costello.

Carmella was employed by the Golden Hill Nursing Home for seventeen years as a receptionist and the assistant to the Director of Nursing. Previously she was employed as a bookkeeper by the Walter Reid Theater and UPAC and worked in various garment factories as a seamstress. Surviving are her children; Ronald Dreiser and his wife Karen of Port Ewen, Kirk Dreiser and his wife Michelle of Fort Pierce, Florida, Marcia Lima and her husband John of Kingston; her grandchildren, Jared Dreiser, Mara Dreiser, Josiah Dreiser, Christopher Dreiser, Nathan Dreiser, Abigail Dreiser, Amy Lima-Istad and Kara Lima; her brother, Ronald Costello; her extended family and special friends, Ann and Neal Smoller.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. Her husband, Henry Francis Dreiser and sister, Isabelle Costello-Weider predeceased her. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2649 South Road, #101Poughkeepsie, New York 12601.
