Carmella (Olympio) Gatto, 93, a lifelong resident of Elizabeth, passed away at home on Monday, December 3, 2018. Mrs. Gatto was the beloved wife of the late Joseph V. Gatto, Jr., devoted mother of Virginia Ward of Linden, Jennifer D. Peterson and her husband Thomas of Tampa, FL, mother-in-law of the late Myles Ward, loving sister of Salvatore Olympio and his wife Joan, the late Charles Olympio, James Olympio and Rose Vosseler. Cherished grandmother of Michael Ward and his wife Lisa, Kelly Garcia and her husband Esteban, great grandmother of Alyssa and Anthony Garcia also Brianna, Brian and Liam Ward.

Visiting today (Wednesday) 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, December 6, 2018, 9:30 am at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. Georges Avenue, Linden, N.J. 07036. Funeral Mass Blessed Sacrament RC Church, Elizabeth 10:30 am.

Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Newark.
