(Staubach) Gibbons, 86, of Colonia, NJ passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting from the Werson Funeral Home, 635 North Wood Avenue, Linden on Wednesday, December 19th from 6-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, December 20th in the funeral home at 10:30 AM.

Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. Irene was born in Linden, NJ, lived in Colonia the past 65 years, prior Elizabeth, NJ. She was a member of the Colonia Elks #2282 and Colonia American Legion Post 248.

Irene enjoyed Casinos & Bingo, and traveling in her later years. Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph W. Gibbons on September 24, 2010, and her parents, Edgar and Anna Staubach. Surviving is her loving son, Kevin Gibbons and his wife, Debby, one granddaughter, Jessica Schwartz, 2 brothers, Ronald Staubach and his wife Arlene, and Richard Staubach, and many cousins.
