Dennis Joseph Murphy, 62, of Union, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth. He was a retired foreman for the NJ Conrail in Newark for 38 years. Dennis was the beloved husband of the late Catherine (O’Connor) Murphy, devoted son of Timothy Joseph Murphy and the late Dorothy Loretta, loving brother of Kathleen Uhrin, Mary Makowski, Timothy J. Murphy, Jr., John C. Murphy, and the late Vincent F. Murphy.

Also survived by several dear nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, 5:00-9:00 pm at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. Georges Avenue, Linden, N.J. 07036. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm.

Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center at sthuberts.org would be appreciated.
