She was born December 23, 1953 in Albuquerque, NM, the daughter of Elmer and Betsy (Rogers) Heron, they precede her in death as does a brother Randy William Heron. Carol is survived by her husband Dale Bartkowiak, her siblings: Debra Ann Geever, Michael Elmer Heron, James Elmer Heron, Dolores Lynn Lopez and Patricia Lynn Locascio as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a visitation for Carol on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM and followed by interment at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Rd. , Cary. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to: htpps://www.
