Obituary for Edward W. Hladik Edward Hladik, age 76 of Cary passed away September 26, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospital. He was born December 4, 1941 in Evergreen Park, IL, the son of Edward and Anne Hladik. Ed is survived by his wife Joan M. (Schroyer) Hladik whom he married August 29, 1970 in Lincoln, IL, married 48 years, his children: David (Kate O’Loughlin) Hladik, Lisa (Mark) Wondriska and Geoff Hladik, his grandchildren: Liam Hladik, Clare Hladik, Sean Hladik, Max Wondriska and Skylar Wondriska.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother William Hladik. Ed served his country during the Vietnam War; he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a sales rep for Cardunal Office Supply in Cary for over thirty years. There will be a visitation for Ed on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd.

, Cary. Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 2nd, at 10:30 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 410 First St., Cary and will be followed with burial at St. John Nepomucene Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
