Obituary for Mrs. Carol ‘Elaine’ Kemp Carol Elaine Kemp, of Watauga, TX passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Grapevine, TX. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, teacher and coach to all that knew and loved her. She was born on November 10, 1959 in Odessa, TX to Thomas Stone and Mary Jane Tyler.

Elaine was a passionate coach and teacher with both Big Spring and Grapevine ISD; Elaine was active in the Grapevine Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was active in her local church and in her bible study. Her interests included sports, antiquing and collecting Fenton Glass.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Richard Kemp, father, Thomas Stone, mother, Mary Jane Tyler, sister, Debbie Haechten, nephew, Jared Haechten and niece, Jessica Cagle; and other family members. The visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Lucas Funeral Home-Keller. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Keller.
