Carol Frey, age 83, of Woodstock, passed away, July 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Earlville, IL on April 23, 1935 to Ray and Mae (White) Boozel. She married the late David Frey on June 15, 1957.

They were happily married for 58 years. Carol’s hobbies included playing dominos, sewing, gardening, camping, traveling and cooking. She was an avid Cubs and Bulls fan and loved watching Family Feud.

Carol enjoyed being a nurse, but also loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family and friends. Carol is survived by her son Donald Frey, daughter Sandra (Robert) Landrey, grandchildren, Neil, Shaine, Jarrid and Drew Carroll-Frey, Jessica Landrey, Rachael Landrey and Amanda (Randall) Aldridge, sisters, Marilyn Michelini and Doris Inness and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Frey, brother-in-laws, Richard Michelini and Robert Inness.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 1:00pm until the service at 3:00pm at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock IL 60098. Burial will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in Earlville, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
