COTTAGE GROVE-Carol Schwark, age 81, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born on Sept. 29, 1936, in Madison, the daughter of Carl and Gladys (Hooks) Guitzkow.

She married Donald Schwark on April 17, 1954. Carol worked for UW Credit Union until her retirement. She enjoyed antiquing, thrift store shopping, crafting, knitting, and especially spending time with family and organizing family get-togethers.

Carol is survived… Read More » by her husband, Donald; four children, Mike (Audrey) Schwark and Mark Schwark, Sue (Gerald) Morovits and Kim Bern; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a twin brother. A private family service will be held at a later date per her request.
