Caroline C. “Re” Kibby, 85, of 205 N. Market St., Muncy, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at her home. Born April 17, 1933 in Sparta, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Marjorie Erdman. She and her husband, Elton L. Kibby Jr., celebrated 42 years of marriage before his death Sep.

12, 1994. Caroline was a 1952 graduate of Sparta High School. She previously worked at the former Schnadig Corporation and the former Hurr’s Restaurant, now Main Street Grill, Muncy.

She retired from the former Fox’s Family Restaurant, Pennsdale. Caroline was a member of the Edward J. Smith Post 3428 VFW Ladies Auxiliary and an avid bingo player. She was devoted to caring for her son Keith and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin P. and Cheryl Ann Kibby and Keith W. Kibby, all of Muncy; two brothers, Donald and Kenny Erdman, both of Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Nathan (Cindy) Kibby, Rian Kibby and Tyler Kibby, all of Muncy; and two great-granddaughters, Samantha and Alexandria Kibby. In addition to her parents and husband, Caroline was predeceased by a daughter, Linda R. Kibby and a brother, Fred Erdman. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev.

Robert Rice, pastor of Muncy Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Caroline’s name may be made to Hope Enterprises, Inc., 2401 Reach Rd.
