Martha L. Ritter, 87, of 217 W. Penn St., Muncy, died Thursday, September 13, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Born December 18, 1930 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen K. (Gray) Mulligan. She married Herbert H. Ritter, who preceded her in death in 2007.

Martha attended Muncy High School. She retired from Sylvania, Montoursville, after 29 years of service. Martha enjoyed dancing, cooking and playing Bingo.

She loved going on road trips with her husband and friends. Martha was also fond of visiting casinos and spending winters in Florida. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Mark D. and Beverly Ritter, of Watsontown; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Randolph Mack, of FL; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Michael and Matthew Phillips, Mark Jr., Jason and Scott Ritter, LaTanya Quartman, Caine and Cody Wilson; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lulu Mulligan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Debbie (Ritter) Swisher and one brother, George Mulligan. There will be a remembrance gathering at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, at 217 W. Penn St., Muncy, for Martha and Herb Ritter. Friends and family are invited to attend.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
