Carrie (Carriebell) Myers Hann, 95, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Westminster, MD, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018. She was the wife of the late Elmer S. Hann, who died February 18, 1971. Born July 8, 1923, near New Windsor, MD, she was the daughter of the late C. Herbert and Mollie M. Bange.

Carrie was a 1941 graduate of New Windsor High School, serving as Treasurer of the Class for numerous reunions. She worked for G. C. Murphy’s, Sears, Westminster Trust Co. and Carroll County School Board before retiring in 1986. Upon retirement she remained active; volunteering at Manchester Seniors and North Carroll Seniors, traveling and pursuing her favorite hobby, taking lots of pictures and slides.

Survivors include, a daughter, Donna Fogle, Florida; and son and daughter-in-law Charles Herbert and Denise Hann, Hanover PA; granddaughters, Suzanne Kane, Gina Fogle, both of Jacksonville, Florida; Megan (Mark) Johnson, Tennessee, Stephanie (David) Snyder, Hanover, PA, Michaelann (Jeremy) Keckler, Hanover, PA; and grandson, Wade (Heidi) Fogle, St. Augustine, Florida. In addition, survivors include five great-granddaughters, Samantha (Vladimir) Kane-Volshick, Lemoore, CA, Emily, Olivia, and Arielle Snyder, Hanover, PA, Paisley Keckler, Hanover, PA; two great-grandsons, CPL Elliot (Stephanie) Kane, Twentynine Palms, CA, Tanner Fogle, Jacksonville, FL; one great-great-grandson, Aiden Kane, CA; and one great-great-granddaughter, Elynn Kane, CA. She was preceded in death by brother, Charles H. Bange; and sisters, Mary Grimes, Edna Yingling, and son-in-law Senior Chief F.W. Fogle, USN.

RET. A funeral service to celebrate and remember Carrie’s life will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Philip K. Nace officiating.

Burial will be in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Westminster, MD. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6 – 8 PM, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the funeral home. The Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
