Ramona W Fuhrman , October 08, 1932 — December 28, 2018

Ramona “Monie” Wetzel Brillhart Fuhrman, 86, of Hanover, PA, entered peacefully into God’s eternal care, Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center with her loving family by her side. Born October 8, 1932 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Eli William and Minnie Catherine Wetzel (Barnhart) Brillhart. Ramona was the loving wife of Eugene V. “Ben” Fuhrman with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.

Mrs. Fuhrman was a member of Trinity U.C.C., Hanover, PA. Ramona was a retired private-duty nurse, a former part-time pretzel maker at Revonah Pretzel of Hanover, and a former member of the Hanover Elk’s Ladies’ Auxiliary. Ramona enjoyed her bus trips to away Penn State football games, Mustang Football games, playing cards with family and friends, family vacations to the beach, and especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was an outstanding cook and loved doing so for her family. In addition to her loving husband, Eugene, Romana is survived by her children, Michael E. Fuhrman and wife Patty of Hanover, PA, Lynn M. Angel and husband Andy of Park Hall, MD, Cindi A. Wellde and husband Michael of Ellicott City, MD, and Scott A. Fuhrman and wife Sharon of Barto, PA; eight grandchildren, Jenn Haugh, Megan Beatty, Abi & Zack Angel, Chris & Matt Wellde, Brooke Lesinski, and Tyler Fuhrman; six great grandchildren, Thomas, Rylee, Tanner, Mylee, Jhonny, and Benjamin; and a brother, Hurst W. Brillhart and wife Nancy of Hanover, PA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Curvin W. Barnhart.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Ramona’s life will be held 1:30 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Peg Grzelkowski officiating. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA.

A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
