Obituary for Mrs. Carrie Lynn Spaulding Carrie Lynn Spaulding, 49, of Bangor, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2018 on the Baker Road, Bangor. Born on April 8, 1969 in Malone, NY she was the daughter of Jerry and Barbie (Lyng) Jones. Both survive her.

She married Thomas Spaulding on May 16, 2009 in Malone, NY. Carrie graduated from Franklin Academy in Malone. She loved children and cared deeply about women’s empowerment as well as safe homes and medical needs for women.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church, Malone. She is survived by her husband, Tom Spaulding of Bangor; a son, Conner Allen of Bangor; a sister, Lori Jones of Malone; a nephew, Adam Oropallo of New York City; and her loving extended family, including aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Jones.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame Church, Malone on Friday, July 27 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Giroux officiating.

Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lake Titus Road, Malone. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Mission of Hope, 3452 State Route 22, Peru, NY 12972. A reception will be held following the burial at Mo’s Pub and Grill, Malone.
