Casper Owen Carriker, 83, of Concord, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018. Owen was born September 7, 1934 in North Carolina to the late Casper Owen Carriker, Sr. and the late Mary Jane Cline Carriker. He was also preceded in death by his second oldest child Mary Catherine Carriker and his brother, John Cline Carriker.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 PM at Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM at Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church Sanctuary officiated by Reverend Casper Owen Carriker, III and Reverend Clark Remsburg, Jr. Burial will follow the worship service. Survivors include His Loving wife, Norma Carriker of Concord, NC.

They were married 62 years ago on New Years Eve. Children: Casper Owen (Julie) Carriker, III, Norma (Terry) Eudy, Mark (Karen) Carriker, Carole Carriker Costantino. He is blessed to have 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

Honorary family members include the Bonds family, the Danny Cline family, the Christys, the Salinas, and all the families of Boy Scout Troop 38. In lieu of flowers, please make all memorials to Poplar Tent Boy Scout Troop 38. , 6841 Poplar Tent Rd.
