Obituary for Catherine A. Jakinovich Catherine Ann Jakinovich (nee Beauvais) “Kitty” passed away in the morning of January 4th, 2019. She was 78 years old. Kitty was born on January 21, 1940, and grew up in Detroit MI.

She was married at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, started her family, living in Ann Arbor and Cincinnati OH. She then made a home in Riverdale NY for over 40 years. She gave over 20 years of service to St. Joseph’s Hospital of Yonkers NY.

She enjoyed traveling to Michigan to visit her extended family, and traveling with her children to places of natural beauty such as Alaska, Maine, the Bahamas & Ireland. A faithful parishioner of St. Margaret’s Church, she enthusiastically participated in the parish Leisure Club, Knitting Club and the Right-To-Life group. She will be missed by the staff and residents alike at her beloved Five-Star Residence of Yonkers, where she was a favorite for her kindness & sunny attitude.

Kitty is survived by her son, Bill (Susanne), her daughter, Hellene (Markus Schild), brothers Paul (Patricia) and Ralph. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul & Helen Beauvais, brother Joseph, and sister Virginia. She will be remembered lovingly by her many nieces & nephews, neighbors & friends.
