Catherine Augusta Fitze, 105, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Long View Healthcare Center in Manchester. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born on November 1, 1912 in Frederick County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Ecker and Carrie (Barnes) Ecker.

She was preceded in death by her husband James C. Fitze, three brothers and three sisters. She was a lifetime member of the Westminster Church of the Brethren. She is survived by two sons, Jay C. Fitze (Jane), Neal E. Fitze (Susan), four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

There will be a viewing at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018. A graveside service will immediately follow at the Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster with the Rev. Glenn McCrickard officiating.
