Horner, Catherine, 81, of Dale, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2018. Born January 15, 1937 in St Michael. Daughter of Anthony and Anna (McKotch) Ivock.

Preceded in death by parents, husband Byron “Doc”, sisters Margaret, Lenore, Wilma, and Irene. Survived by loving daughters, Dawn married to Ron Valinsky and Danita. Sisters, Luby Kovach and Janet Swanhart.

Brother, Joe Ivock married to Diane. Loving granddaughter Heidi McGuire married to Matthew. Great granddaughters Samantha and Jessica.

Catherine worked for Franklin Lunch and Grant’s Store at the lunch counter. She went from store to store opening lunch counters, and helping to train employees. Catherine then worked at Johnnies Restaurant for many years.

Catherine was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Ellenberger, Dr. Nathaniel, Conemaugh Nursing Staff (G.S., I.C.U., P.C.U., 7th Rose, and T.C.U.), Allegheny Lutheran Home nursing, Palliative Care, 7th Ward employees, Conemaugh Home Health employees and Dave “Art” Thomas.

At Catherine’s request all services will be private. Family requests no flowers. Entombment Richland Cemetery Mausoleum.
