Obituary for Cathy Segar (Hawkins) Cathy Louise Segar, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at home. She was born on February 18, 1951, the daughter of Gerald and Helen Hawkins. Cathy was an active member of the Wattles Park Baptist Church in Battle Creek.

She is survived by her two sons, Andy (Ginger) Segar and Jeremy Segar; sister, Dorie Hawkins-Hamilton; three grandchildren, Anthony, Elizabeth and William Segar; great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Hawkins, mother, Helen Hawkins, husband, Pastor Steven Segar and son, Bill Segar. Cathy loved and devoted her life to being a seamstress, she was known as one of the best around.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Wattles Park Baptist Church, 126 E. Wallace Street, on Saturday, October 20, 2018, 6:00 pm with Pastor Richard Collins of Wattles Park Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements by the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service. 269-788-9800.
