Visitation will be Friday January 4, 2019 from 10 AM until services at 12 Noon at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Rev.

John Bowlin will officiate and burial will be in the Hollywood Cemetery. Cecil was born on May 8, 1928 in Bellefontaine MS. He is the son of the late, Howell M. and Ruby Vaughn Pepper.

Cecil was a retired Millworker, was a member of the East McComb Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jessie L. (Jerri) Goings Pepper; one daughter, Libby J. McMullen; three brothers, George Pepper, Everette Pepper and Stanley Pepper and one sister, Evelyn Andrews.

He is survived by two sons, Allen Pepper (Verla) and Harold R. Melton (Judy); one daughter, Ann Van Norman (Kenneth); one sister, Sandra K. Sisson; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mitch Godwin, Stein McMullen, Randy Dale, Lance Dale, Brian Clark and James Dale.
