Daniel was born July 21, 1986 in McComb, MS. He was the son of Daniel Ross Howell, Sr. and Carmen Dunaway.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 1:00 pm until memorial service at 3:00 PM at the Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Rev. Brandon Lynch will officiate.

He was a McComb High School graduate, class of 2004. He was a diesel mechanic and loved working on cars and trucks. He was also a diesel mechanic for Wal-Mart Fleet Maintenance.

He was also know to be able to fix anything. He loved grilling out and spending time with his children and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandmother, Linda Dunaway and his paternal grandparents, Sarah and Charles Howell. He is survived by his wife, Whitney McDaniel Howell of McComb; his mother, Carmen Dunaway of McComb; his maternal grandfather, Greg Dunaway of Watson, LA; two sons, Daniel Ross “Trey” Howell, III and Jace Dakota Howell both of Tylertown; one daughter, Dani Lynn Howell of McComb; his aunt, Bonita Dunaway of McComb; his cousins, Jessica Dunaway Whittington (Bartley), Jeremy Newman (Loretta) and Kaylee Whittington all of McComb; his father and mother-in-law, Frankie and Angela Casanova of Osyka; his brother-in-law, Cody McDaniel and fiancé, Tori Melancon In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Southwest Mississippi Children’s Advocacy Center, 420 Delaware Ave.
