Norris, 78, of Ruth, MS. , passed away on February 1, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Norris was born on November 11, 1940 in Franklin County to the late Curtis Norris and Jessie Mae Rollins Norris.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 03, 2019, from 5 PM till 8 PM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home and resume Monday, February 4, from 9 AM till time of services at 1 PM. Services will be from Hartman-Jones Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the family property at Curtis Norris Lane, Ruth, MS. He worked as a tug boat Captain for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, J. D. Norris and Barney Norris. Survivors are his sons, Landell Norris, Buddy Norris, Keith Norris and Paul Norris, daughter, Lana Spring Scoggins, Sisters, Pat Taylor, Margie Boden, and Ann McKlemurry, 19 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren along with a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
