Cecil “CC” Horace Gardner November 17, 1963 – January 21, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Cecil Horace “CC” Gardner, age 55, of Keswick, passed away January 21, 2019. CC was born in Charlottesville to Cecil Hudson Gardner and the late Doris Marie Powell Gardner. He was a member of Rivanna Baptist Church.

CC worked in the construction business, until he was disabled. He loved classic rock and roll music; animals and was an avid outdoorsman. Along with his father, Cecil is survived by his sister, Linda C. Shifflett and her husband, Ronnie; his brother, Chris Gardner and his wife, Diane; his son, Joshua Moneymaker and extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Cox and Steve Cox. The family welcomes friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hill and Wood Funeral Home, Charlottesville on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor Larry Wingfield.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www. hillandwood.com.
