Service time is at 2:00 P.M. with Father Korey La Vergne officiating. No visitation will be held.

Cecile was born on September 2nd, 1926 in New Iberia. She passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Iberia Medical Center. Cecile is survived by her daughter, Brenda Boudreaux and husband James Boudreaux, her son, Michael Dore and wife, Theresa Dore, a sister, Pearl Barrilleaux, seven Grandchildren, Laurie Mouton and husband Chad, Wayne Boudreaux, Janet Sevin and husband Raymond Sevin, Michael Dore Jr. (Kaitlyn), Tessie Blake, Eula Lacik (Nick), and Christopher Dore, thirteen Great Grandchildren, Jamie Dore, Porsha Dore, Hunter Dore, Zoey Dore, Eula Blake, Crystal Blake, Merlin Lacik, Sabastian Lacik, Destiny Blake, William Henderson, Evelyn Elizabeth Wingfield, Amelia Mouton, and Margaux Mouton, three Great-Great Grandchildren, Laylie Dore, Lyla Dore, and Lowen Dore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laoudice and Anaise Viator Romero, brothers, Zoel Romero and Mayo Romero, and sisters, Angelle Bourque and Lillie Mae Romero. Acadian Funeral Home of New Iberia, is in charge of arrangements.
