Father Bill Melancon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church will officiate at the service. The Funeral Home will open at 4:00 P.M. and close at 7:00 P.M. Service time is at 6:30 P.M. Interment will be private and held at a later date.

Mr. Tenney passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Lafayette General Hospital. He was born in New Iberia on July 30, 1957. He enjoyed reading, spending time on Facebook, and taking care of his dogs.

Left behind to cherish his memory are four children, Gwendelynn Durand of New Iberia, Markie Lynn (Drake) of Coteau, Cheyenne (Brendon), of Saint Martinville, Curtis Leger (Miranda) of New Iberia, seven brothers and sisters, Linda (Preston) Hebert, Gale (Jerry) Collins, Randy (Vickie) Tenney, Sandy (Olan) Bourque, Cathy (Ulysses) Bouton, Ricky (Annette) Tenney, Robin (Steve) Breaux, Grandchildren, Paige Rae, Chase, Gavin, Ginger, Bailey, Anaka, Keryth, and Elayne, former wife, Linda Ireland Tenney, and former mother-in-law, Betty Ireland.
