Charlene Rose Marihugh, 65, of Harbor Springs, died November 11, 2018. Charlene was born November 1, 1953, in Cheboygan, Michigan, the daughter of Charlie and Nina (Hickman) Bond. On November 27, 1971, she married Robert Marihugh.

Together, Charlene and Robert raised a family in Harbor Springs. Charlene worked as a Nurse’s Aid at the Emmet County Care Facility and in home healthcare for close to twenty years. She enjoyed spending time on the family’s farm, feeding her ducks, chickens and turkeys.

Char also liked to garden and tend to her flowerbeds. Charlene is survived by her four children, Jon (Tonia) Marihugh of Harbor Springs, Josh Marihugh of Oden, Charles Marihugh of Oden, and Teresa Mervyn of Marquette; grandchildren, Andy (Emmy), Phil (Jordan), Sam, Zach, Jordan, and Christina Marihugh; and 7 great grandchildren. Charlene is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Baby” Marihugh; and her siblings, Jeannie Arquette, James Hurd and Frank Bond.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Stone Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. For those wishing to help the family with Charlene’s medical bills, please direct any donations to Jon Marihugh.
