Gwendolyn Amy Hollar, 84 of Fenton, died December 19, 2018 in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Gwendolyn was born on October 6, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Brown) Phillips. She was raised in Plymouth, Michigan and was a graduate of Western Michigan University.

On August 23, 1974, she married David Hollar. Together, they started a family in Fenton, Michigan. Gwendolyn worked as a comptroller for Glenn Wilson Buick until her retirement.

She was a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fenton. Gwendolyn is survived by her daughters, Miriam Hollar of New Orleans, Louisiana and Lorraine (Ron) Greathouse of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Thomas Schulingkamp, Lashley Schulingkamp, Rachel Schulingkamp, Ariana Greathouse and Phillip Greathouse. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; and brother, Arnold John Phillips.

There will be a private graveside service at the South Lyon Cemetery at a later date.
