Cherie Belinda Moore, age 54, of the Rocky Fork Lake area near Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Saturday morning, May 5, 2018 at home surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with cancer. She was born January 17, 1964 in Georgetown, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles Dale Jordan and the late Wanda Kay (Stout) Thompson. .

On April 28, 1998 in Port Royale, South Carolina, she married Frank Moore, who survives. She was a US Army Veteran. In addition to her husband, other surviving family members are her sons- Anthony Simich of Hillsboro, OH, & Jordan (Olivia) Simich of Lynchburg, OH; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers- James (Molly) Jordan of West Union, OH, & Larry Jordan of Winchester, OH; mother-in-law- Carol Shaw of Moatsville, WV; and her 2 beloved aunts- Doris Whitaker of Wilmington, OH, & Joyce Caplinger of Waynesville, OH.

In addition to her parents, Cherie was preceded in death by her brother- Bobby Jordan and sister- Angie Thompson. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday May 14, 2018 at the Springfield Friends Cemetery, Todds Fork Road, Wilmington, where the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Memorial Squad will accord full military honors. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
