Cheryl D. Tomlinson, Age 71, of Wilmington, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 23, 2018, which was her husband’s birthday, at the Autumn Years Nursing Home in Sabina, Ohio surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 15, 1946 in Springfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Virgil & Vivian Josephine (Borton) Cline. On April 11, 1979 in Xenia, she married John W. Tomlinson, who preceded her in death on March 25, 2013.

Cheryl had worked at the Easter Seals, Xenia, the Sundry Store, the Dollar General Store, the Big Lots Store and the TMI Store, all in Wilmington. She was a member of the Trinity Full Gospel Church in Sabina. Surviving are her 4 Children- Wayne (Tammy) Tomlinson, Lorie (Donnie) Davis, Randy (Beth) Tomlinson, and Darlene Tomlinson, all of Wilmington; 9 grandchildren- Katie (Arron) Miller, Kristina (A.J.) Hughes, LaTasha (Andrew) Ruddle, Skylar Tomlinson, Damian Tomlinson, Branson Newbery, Caylee Clark, Colton Tomlinson, Summer Tomlinson; 9 great-grandchildren- Brylin, Madelyn, Braxton, Addison, Bristyl, Noah, Braiya, Karli-Jo, and an expected one in June; and a sister- Joyce (Charlie) Moore, Beavercreek; 3 nephews- Ronnie, Jonathan, & Jesse; and 5 great-nieces.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Carey Hiltebran officiating. Interment will be at the family’s convenience in the Silver Creek Cemetery, Jamestown, Ohio. Friends will be received on Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
