Obituary for Christine “Chris” L. Rannells Cedar Falls – Christine “Chris” L. Rannells, age 56, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at UnityPoint Allen Hospital. She was born October 15, 1963 in Waterloo, the daughter of Jack and Mary (Bertch) Minehart. She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in the class of 1982.

On September 15, 1990 she married Scott Rannells, in Cedar Falls. She worked in data entry and customer service for Professional Office Systems in Waterloo. Survived by: her husband; two sons, Samuel Rannells of Waterloo, and Lucas Rannells of Cedar Falls; her mother, Mary Minehart of Cedar Falls, two brothers, Jack Minehart of Cedar Falls, and Dave (Sharon) Minehart of Centerville, MA; a niece, Katie Minehart of Washington DC; and a sister-in-law, Amy Rannells of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: her father, and a sister in infancy, Eileen Minehart. A time of gathering for friends and family will be from 4-7pm on Thursday, June 21, at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family.
