OGDEN – Christine “Chrissy” Jordan, Hofer, 48, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Mc-Kay Dee Hospital. She was born December 29, 1969 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Steven and Rosemary Orrell Hofhine. She was raised in Syracuse.

Chrissy married Michael W. Hofer on August 19, 2003 in Ogden, Utah. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Chrissy loved reading, cross stitch, hockey, children’s soccer and watching Raiders football.

She always said she lived in the 60’s. Surviving are her husband, Michael Hofer, sons, Braxxton and Carson Hofer, grandparents, Darleen and Lee Strickland, parents, Steve and Rosie Hofhine, sisters, Shellie, Carrie, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her grandparents “Orrell”, grandpa Talbot and Niece Zoe.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
