Darrell W. Doxey September 15, 1929 ~ October 5, 2018 Darrell W. Doxey passed away on October 5, 2018. He was born in Ogden, Utah, on September 15, 1929 to Franklin and Blanche Doxey. Darrell graduated from Ogden High School.

He was active in sports and played on the Ogden High School baseball team winning the championship. He joined the US Navel Reserve and was later drafted into the Army in the Korean War. Darrell was a member of the IBEW Union for over 50 years, working for the Southern Pacific Railroad, General Mills, and Hill Air Force Base.

Darrell married Marlene Widdison in Hooper, Utah, on October 18, 1954 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had a son, Dale and daughter, Carolyn. Darrell lived until he became the patriarch of the family, the last member of Doxey Cazier Family.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
