Obituary for Mrs. Christine Clements Christine Clements was born on August 29, 1947 in Tuskegee, Alabama to parents Lloyd Clements and Johnnie Mae Jones. She was raised and adopted by Frank Hughley, Sr. Christine attended and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School in 1966. She graduated top of her class.

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at and early age. She was a member of Church of the Living God Pillar Ground in Truth under Pastor Francis Williams. She later moved to Syracuse, New York to further her education while she worked as a bank teller.

Christine later moved to Watts, California and auditioned for acting in Hollywood, California. She then returned back to Orlando, Florida, where she went back to school for nursing at Valencia College. She was also employed as an Insurance clerk in Downtown Orlando.

After giving up on nursing, she became an author and song writer. She loved writing as that was her passion. During the last couple of years of her life, she started studying ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Biological Father: Lloyd Clements; Father: Frank Hughley, Sr.; Mother: Johnnie Mae Hughley; Sisters: Evelyn Hughley and Sharon Ann Clements. Christine is survived by her Sons: Tyrone Smith of Winter Park, Florida and Michael Clements of Coleman, Florida; Daughters: Tamara Clements-Davis (Darrin) of Ocoee Florida and Loretta Cannon of Orlando, Florida; Brothers: Frank Hughley, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Calvin Hughley of Sodus, New York, Lloyd Clements, Jr. (Eva) of Montgomery, Alabama, Michael Clements of Tuskegee, Alabama, Darryl Clements (Dwana) of Birmingham, Alabama; Sisters: Mary Tinsley (Bruce) of Zellwood, Florida, Marilyn Renfroe (Larry), Sylvia Clements both of Tuskegee, Alabama, Cassandra Acoff (Ronald) of Tampa, Florida; Grandchildren: Brionica Green of Orlando, Florida, Damari Davis of Ocoee, Florida, Victoria Maxwell and Makhi Datilma both of Orlando, Florida, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
