A woman devoted to her husband and children where home was all that mattered. Outside the home she worked as a telephone operator of which the stories were legendary and then she settled into Chief Assistant Officer for all of the Abell adventures, raising four children, building homes, managing boat docks on Harrods Creek, Boat City, First Mate aboard The A-Bell’s with her handsome Captain and their most successful work endeavor Abell Electric Company, Inc. Her children will miss their biggest fan and cheerleader. Chris was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Butchertown and a current member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that contributions be made to the Archdiocese of Louisville Education Fund to help provide the gift of education that she and her husband so greatly valued for their children or The Healing Place to help those in recovery.
