Obituary for Barbara Stevenson Young Barbara Stevenson Young, 71, of Crestwood, passed away peacefully Friday, June 15, 2018. She was born in Lake Charles, Lousiana, daughter of the late John D. and Rebekah Wilcox Stevenson. She worked with her husband for E & S Distributing and Shelving Concepts and attended Middletown Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 34 years, Thomas Alden Young; a sister, Nadine Adams; and a brother, Alfred Stevenson. Barbara is survived by her children, Courtney Marie Higdon (Brian), Whitney Ann Roberts (Michael), James Albert Young (My), Christopher Alden Young; grandchildren, Isaac, Maggie, Caleb, Ella Higdon, Alden, Colton, Astor, Ty Roberts, Nathaniel, Aiden, Christian, Mishka, Ranen Young; a sister, Linda Wyman; and a brother Albert Stevenson (Carolyn). A Celebration of Barbara’s life will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road “in St. Matthews” with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
