Obituary for James Michael “Mike” Lewis 68, Louisville, KY- Mike went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 11th. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Mike shared 36 years of love with his wife, Sally.

Mike retired from the Louisville Water Company after 35 years. During his retirement he enjoyed working for Miller Transportation and his daily bus route for Holy Trinity School. He was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Booster Club for many years, and was a fan of Trinity High School and UofL athletics.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Alice Lewis, his brother, Tommy Lewis, and his nephew, David Lewis. He is survived by his wife Sally Aubrey Lewis, his siblings, Billy (Mary Anne), Bobby, Barbara (Chris), Danny, Jackie (Holly), and Molly (Mark), his children Mary (Scott) Smith, Scott (Katie), Matthew (Marie), Sam, his grandchildren Stephanie, Samuel, Emma, and Maggie, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, “St. Matthews” on Friday, June 15th from 2:00pm-8:00pm, and a funeral mass will be held in Mike’s honor at Our Lady of Lourdes on Saturday, June 16th at 10:00am.
