Clarence’s Obituary Clarence William “Bill” McCartney age 77 of Parkersburg, WV, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born December 6, 1941 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Dana McCartney and Betty Daggett Brookover. Bill had previously worked at the Pottery Plant in Williamstown, WV, Vienna Auto Parts, and D & J Auto Parts.

He retired as a truck driver after several years working for Parkersburg Truck Trailer. Bill loved helping others and volunteered Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Bill is survived by his two brothers, Craig Brookover (Mary) of Southaven, MS and Scott Brookover (Barb) of Etters, PA.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his step-father, Gale Brookover, who raised him; his wife, Maxine McCartney; and his brother, Brian Brookover. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna is assisting the family with arrangements.
