Sara Jean Amick, 79 of Belpre, Ohio, died at her residence on Feburary 9, 2019. She was born in Coolville, Ohio on January 30, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Floyd V. and Wilbur Wayne Stoffel Alloway. She was a member of the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Belpre.

She retired from the IRS. Following her retirement she spent her time caring for her grandchildren who were her life. Survivors include her son Robert Wayne Amick (Derek Craig) of Columbus, Ohio, and her daughter, Sherry Wilson Braid (Andrew) of Belpre, Ohio, her grandchildren, Benjamin and Grace Wilson.

Also surviving are her two brothers, Charles (Lana) Alloway, and a brother David (Diane) Alloway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Amick in 2016, her brothers, Clyde, Carl, and Floyd Alloway. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Belpre, Ohio.
