Grimm, 90, of the Town of Lee, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at his son’s home surrounded by his family. He was born June 12, 1928 in Vernon, NY the son of Howard and Edith Grimm. On June 12, 1949 he married Florence Ada Lord in Georgetown, NY.

She died September 1981. Clark worked for Oneida Limited for over 40 years. He was a volunteer for the civil defense for the Town of Verona.

Clark enjoyed going with Jason his riding buddy. His favorite sayings were “I love it” and “I’m an old farmer”. He’s survived by a daughter, Margaret Saunders; three sons, Duane, Harold, and Howard Grimm; a sister, May Chapman; a brother, Ronald Grimm; a sister-in-law, Marion Marshall; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a very special thank you to Tina McGowen in this time of need. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Verona Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at Prince-Boyd & Hyatt Home for Funerals Inc., 210 W. Court St., Rome Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to one’s choice.
