Claudette Gauvin, 73, of Arundel Maine, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018. She was born on January 5, 1945 to Raoul and Jeannette (Gagne) Sayer in Biddeford, Maine. She graduated from St. Andre’s High School in 1963 and married Raymond Gauvin on July 5th 1963.

Their son Glenn, was born June 5th 1964. Claudette was a wonderful woman, a great wife, awesome mother, fantastic memere, and a friend to all. She will be missed and will always be cherished.

She enjoyed being with her husband Ray anytime/anywhere and would often spend time with Ray at the casinos. She welcomed and fed all of the neighborhood children at the lake and most of them would call her “Mom”. She enjoyed it most when the grandchildren would hold hands as young kids and cross the field to play at her house.

Christmas time was the best of all, the presents for the grandchildren were stacked high as they spent hours playing with Chris and Michelle. She retired from Saco School Department as a bus driver in 1995 and truly loved her students and parents. Surviving are: Husband: Raymond Gauvin Son: Glenn Gauvin and his wife Terry Grand Children: Chris Gauvin and his wife Mackenzie Michelle Gauvin 2 Sisters: Janice Labelle and her husband Michael Priscilla Lauzon and her husband Roger 1 Brother: Richard Sayer and his wife Donna Several nieces and nephews Funeral Services were private.
