Obituary for Mr. Clayton Allen James Clayton Allen James, husband of Shelia Golden James, of 310 Manor Ln, Seneca, passed away, Friday, August 31, 2018, at his residence. A native of Pickens, SC Mr. James was the son of Grady Allen James and the late Mary Frances Sloan James. He worked as a machine operator at Covidien for many years and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife and father, Mr. James is survived by his step-son: Shane Golden (Joy); brother: Travis Jerry James; sisters: Sue Owen (Stan) and Tammy Moore (Rob); step-granddaughter: Mckinnley Golden; and step-grandson: Grayson Clark. In addition to his mother, Mr. James is preceded in death by his brother: Al Anthony James. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Open Door Baptist Church with burial to follow at Smith Grove Baptist Church, Liberty, SC.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 4, 2018, prior to the service, at Open Door Baptist Church. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Open Door Baptist Church, 3673 Blue Ridge Blvd. , Walhalla, SC 29691.
