Clementina D. Costa ( nee David ), 80 of Edison, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison with her family by her side. Clementina was born in Caldas De Rainha, Portugal, and came to Perth Amboy 33 years ago and the last 16 years in Edison. She was employed by Mel’s Children Clothing for 25 years as a seamstress.

She retired in 1995. She was a parishioner of the Saint John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of the Rosary of the Fatima Church. She is preceeded in death by her loving parents Julio and Amelia ( nee David ) Costa.

She is survived by her devoted husband for 58 years Joaquim E. Costa; beloved mother of Joseph and his wife Debora Costa, and Dr. Gina C. and her husband Paul Danner; dear sister of Alice DoCoito and Laura Lopes; adored grandmother of Jayden Costa, Isabella, Frances and Lily Danner; cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews and cousins. We begin to leave on Thursday January 24, 2019 at 9:15 am from Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street,. Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 10 am at St. John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima Church.

Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery. Visiting is on Wednesday from 2 ~ 4 & 7 ~ 9 pm.
