Obituary for Clifford Wilson Clifford Wilson, 84 of Dingess, WV departed this life Tuesday June 26, 2018. He was born January 4, 1934 at Breeden, WV to the late Carter and Georgia Ann Williamson Wilson. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by: his brothers, Carlos (Delsie) Wilson, Henry (Doris) Wilson, and Tennis (Geneva) Wilson; sister, Mabel (Willard) Brewer; brother-in-law, J.C. Wellman; and son-in-law, Gary Blankenship.

Clifford was a member of the UMWA and the United Steel Workers. He was a coal miner and a welder, and he worked on the New River Gorge Bridge and Sears Tower. He is survived by: his wife, Eloise Likens Wilson; sons, David (Cassie) Lee Wilson, and Joseph (Alissa) Allen Wilson; daughter, Paula Wilson Blankenship; brothers, Orson (Louise) Wilson of Mississippi, and Carter (Barb) Wilson Jr. of Dingess; sister, Ellen Wellman of Charleston; 3 grandchildren, Joseph Shane Wilson, David Eugene Wilson, and Ronnie Lee Wilson.

He also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday July 2, 2018 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with Rev. Cornelius Lackey officiating.

Burial will follow in the Likens Cemetery at Dingess. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday July 1, 2018 also at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.
