Bessie Allen, 75 of Logan, passed away Sunday July 29, 2018 at home, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Born September 2, 1942 at Mud River, WV, Bessie was the daughter of the late James and Lillie Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Wallace “Shade” Allen, son Curtis Allen, granddaughter Angel Allen, sister Marie Dotson, and brothers Everette and Lushen Roberts.

Bryant, John Barker, Nikki (Steven) Bryant, Kelsey Allen, Justin (Kayla Morris) Allen, Shane (Cynthia Williams) Bryant, Chase Allen, Bryanna Allen, Caiden Vance, Danielle Vance and Rickey Vance II, great grandchildren Kacie, Rose, Steven, Brooklynn, Bently, Colton and Hunter, sisters Rose White, Avonelle Woodrum, Doretta Paris, Maggie Pullen, brothers Willard, O’dell, and Kennith Roberts. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Honaker Funeral Home in Logan, with Pastor Sherman Jones officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday July 31, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Scott Hunter, John Barker, J.D. Bryant, Justin Allen, Shane Bryant and Tommy Harrison.

Honorary pallbearers include Steven Bryant, Clydie Marcum and Glen Nelson.
