Obituary for Clyde Joseph Houser Print Clyde Joseph Houser, 88, of Blountville, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Mr. Houser was a Korean War Veteran serving with honor in the United States Navy. Mr. Houser was a lifelong resident of Blountville, Tennessee.

He and his brother, R.C. Houser, were lifelong business partners in various businesses and endeavors. He was faithful to his church and a Charter Member of Faith Baptist Church of Blountville, Tennessee. Mr. Houser was preceded in death by his wife Patsy White Houser and his son, Ronald W. Houser.

He was also preceded in death by his father: David Roosevelt Houser; mother: Cordie Lundy Houser, brothers: Johnny Mack Houser, William Paul Houser and R.C. Houser. He is survived by his sisters: Louise McCrary and Susie Farris: brother: Carl Houser and granddaughter Karen Elizabeth Houser as well as many Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 12-2 pm at the East Tennessee Funeral Home with service to follow with Pastor Eddie Zimmerman officiating.

Mr. Houser will be laid to rest immediately following the service in the East Tennessee Cemetery Garden of Solomon. In lieu of flowers it is requested that a memorial donation be made to Dwayne Chase, Missionary to Honduras and fellow member of Faith Baptist Church. Box 999 Orange Park, FL 32067 The family wishes to thank and acknowledge those who have provided care at the Mountain Home Veterans Administration Hospital.

Special appreciation is felt toward the staff of the Christian Care Center of Bristol, Tennessee for their care of Mr. Houser. The family of Mr. Houser is being cared for by East Tennessee Funeral Home and Cremation Services/Cemetery, 2630 Highway 75, Blountville, Tennessee.
