Funeral service for Winford “Wimp” Clark, age 78, of Decatur, will be Friday, March 29, 2019, 3:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil Crisp officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.

Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Clark, who died Friday, March 22, 2019, in Trinity, was born June 5, 1940, in Belle Mina, to Bearl Clark and Bessie Bagley Clark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Jean Robbins Clark, his parents, one grandson, Matthew Clark Johnson, five brothers, and two sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Clark of Trinity, and Mark Clark (Pam) of Lady Lake, FL; two daughters, Beverly Johnson (Andral) of Clarksville, TN, and Belinda Carr (Sean) of Vero Beach, FL; one brother, Dewey Clark (Audrey) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one sister, Coretha Powers of Hillsboro; and seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Clark, Mark Clark, Edward Clark, Sam Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Brandon Carr, and Will Carr. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
