Obituary for Cody Allen Dix Cody Allen Dix, 21, of 620 Pineview Road departed this life on December 23, 2018 to be with our Heavenly Father. Cody was born on December 1, 1997 the son of the late Allen Kent Dix and Kristy Hancock Thomas, who survives. Cody first attended Tunstall High School then went on to graduate from Hargrave Military Academy class of 2016.

He was an avid basketball and football player. He was a UNC and Carolina Panthers fan. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors in addition to his mother include a stepfather, Greg Thomas, a sister, Karissa Ann Dix; a brother, Dakota Ryan Thomas, grandparents, Robert Hancock, Diane Turner, Pat and Joe Thomas. In addition to his father he was predeceased by two grandparents, Ann Hancock and Jimmy Dix. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel conducted by the Rev.

Joe Hopkins. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
