Obituary for Jeanette Walker Womack On December 24, 2018, Jeanette Walker Womack, 75, of the Vandola community was reunited with her husband, Dallas, to spend their first Christmas in Heaven together. Jeanette was born in Franklin County, VA on October 1, 1943 a daughter of the late Harry Marshall Lee and Nancy Walker Lee. Jeanette was a graduate of Whitmell Farm Life School and worked for Dr. Drake Pritchett for 27 years and later was the bookkeeper for D. Womack & Company Builders.

She was a member of Vandola Baptist Church. On March 21, 1964, she married the love of her life, Dallas Franklin Womack, who died on August 12, 2018. Survivors include her son, Frankie Womack, a granddaughter that was her pride and joy, Allison Brooke “A.B.” Womack; a sister, Linda Eatmon; an aunt, Jane Carter; two sister-in-laws, Vera Reid (Philip), Judy Wells (Tommy); a brother-in-law, Wayne Moore (Marsha); two nieces, Karen Brown, Casey Daniels; two nephews; Lee Eatmon, David Wayne Moore and her beloved animals.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Vandola Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Scott Bortz and Dr. Doug Barber. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Vandola Baptist Church and at other times at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Vandola Baptist Church 1950 Vandola Church Rd Danville, VA 24541. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is serving the Womack family.
