He was born January 14, 1994 in Hope, Arkansas to David and Sheena Covington. Cody was a member of First Baptist Church in Buckner, Arkansas.

He liked to hunt, fish, ride 4-wheelers and he loved his dogs. Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Marilyn Brown. He is survived by his parents; wife, Melissa Covington of Stamps, AR; grandparents, Roy and Virginia Covington, of Buckner, AR; brother, Davey Covington, of Stamps, AR; father-in-law, Jeffery Sanders of Texarkana; mother-in-law, Tammy Sanders of Stamps, AR; brother-in-law, Matthew Price of Willisville, AR; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and several friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro Andy Hawkins and Christopher Vines officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel on Thomas Street in Stamps, AR. Online registration is available at www.
